he guys,

just wondering if its possible to put a BA falcon 6cyl motor into a EF XR6 and with what mods?

iv just finished helping a mate fit his new XR6T motor into his BA fairmont (goes hard now) and only wants $600 dollars for his old motor-ECU-loom!!!!!

another mate wants to put it in his EF XR6 but wants to know if its worth it and how hard is it to convert? engine mounts,gearbox, wiring ect??? So if theres anybody out there that can help it would be muchly appreciated!!

Ok Dont know MUCH about the conversion all I know is your bonnet wont fit :) Its been done before and they've had to use custom bonnets as the motor is alot bigger. You'd be 10x better asking this on the fordforums or fordmods

$600 is a STEAL, buy it. work out the rest later

It has been done before and I have seen XR6 Turbo motors in EL/EF Falcons.

yeah $600 IS A STEEL especially considering its only got 96,000kms
dam didnt think of the bonnet issue!!
