Hi guys,

Ive got an old TR or TS Magna and it has an immobiliser built in which uses this huge square thing to unlock it. Now i dont even bother using it (carrying it around) because its so big, so i jsut leave it in my coin-tray and unlock it as i get into the car... now obviously thats just pointless so i want to remove it!

So i was wondering if people could help me with:

A. Disabling the immobiliser from working
B. Is it possible to still have the Red light showing so it looks like the immobiliser is still active?

Welcome to the forum. That looks like an aftermarket alarm/immoboliser. Need to provide more info on it before someone on here can help you.

Ah bugger, thats what came with the car, so i have no idea.

has anyone else seen one of these before?

Trace the wires back, work out how it is patched in, remove, rejoin wiring to original spec. Easy as.
