Don't see a problem with it, cops will only disagree with it if it's under legal height; or if the springs are cut.

I run KMAC front springs and King rears.

yea would be completely fine, unless of course you're so pedantic you need your springs to all match in colour lol

dunno bout other states but in SA they give you like a few hours to drive home or whatever and then you can only drive it to actually get the springs changed, and then to the inspection place to get the defect removed

The thing you also have to realise is that it isn't going to be stupidly low, even with superlows and the bodykit my car is still over legal clearance height.

You'll be fine mate. Kings superlows/lows combination here with GE Kit. Speed bumps don't pose a problem, no need to take them at an angle or anything.

Yep, crack the nut on the top of the strut half a turn before you remove it (under the rubber cover). If you do it with the strut on the ground the shock shaft tries to turn with the nut.

is there a problem if it turns???

You don't remove the nut until you have the strut removed and you've fitted the spring compressors. That why I said to just crack it whilst still fitted to the vehicle.
It is possible to loosen it after you've removed the strut but why make it harder for yourself? Hey, I did my first one with the strut removed till I discovered it could be a bitch to loosen.

dont remove the nut its the only thing holding the strut top on and if you release it without spring compressors on you will probably take your head off. also when putting it all back together make sure to line the strut top up with the lower spring seat, there is a hole in both the strut top and the lower spring seat that have to line up. and dont forget to torque all nuts to spec.

cheers luke

not sure how u got this idea from... also depending on how many kms the shock absorbers have done, it would most probably sag.

tip: don't use spring compressors from supercheap, the ones my brother and myself used for his car actually bent under the amount of pressure it was taking, it was a scary thing to see coz if it broke the spring would've been through my head and the compressors rod would've been in his chest

btw his car is using whiteline control springs up front and lovell lows at the rear, so basically slightly lower than vrx springs at the front and lower at the rear

Have used 3 different pairs of supercheap/tft spring compressors with no issues whatsoever.
