Hey guys went for a drive tonight and when i braked for the lights i heard a crunch/crack noise from the rear, its happened a few times but not consistently. Its a 1999 sports, lowered on lovells and just had new brake pads done a few weeks ago...
any ideas?

Hmmmm crunchy and crackly noises...
If you're mechanical in any way... duck your head under and check the two bolts that hold the brake in place on the hub are still there and tight....they are located on the actual hub.... (Basically the cradle that holds the actual caliper on the hub)
There is also two bolts (Most likely what was disturbed when the pads where changed) that hold the caliper on, that may have either come loose... or not been tightened... check on the inside of your wheel rim for sure. if the inside of your wheel has been gouged then you have a loose caliper.
red arrows....
failing that... maybe a spring/shock has popped...

cheers for that mate, ill have a look at it and i might also give the mechanic a call...
