Hey guys,
My car has developed an oil leak :(
I have spotted where the oil is coming from, it's coming from the oil pressure sensor (just above the oil filter)
Now my question is do I only have to drop the oil filter? or drop all of the oil?
I've tried to plug the leak and it has helped alittle, has slowed to leak down
Now i'm going to go back to Enzed or Pirteck and pick up all the parts I used to extend the oil pressure sensor location so that I could add another sensor and I will be sealing them up right this time round
The hard part would be getting the factory sensor out of its new spot lol
Thanks
Rob

Yeah you'll loose a tiny bit of oil. Not 100% on a 3rd gen but you SHOULDNT have to take off the filter
Why didnt you just use a T fitting, thats what I did for mine :P

I did use a T fitting, but alittle something called the A/C compressor was in the way lol
So I had to put an extension on it to clear it

Eh?
Theres plenty of space for a T piece off the oil pressure sender, depending on what your running (gauge?) just take out the factory sender and screw in whatever your trying to T off.
And no you do not need to remove the filter, a decent deep socket will get it off with zero hassles. Also i think the thread is 1/4 NPT but don't quote me on it.

Why are we using National Pipe Thread on magna blocks? If its 1/4" NPT rob I can get you anything you want in stainless rated to 10,000 psi :) Good luck, you shouldn't lose much oil, just have the replacement fitting ready to go straight in incase it starts coming out?
