i have been reading some old threadfs and i have come across this one a couple of times, If you take the vacuum line of the fpr, and block the hole in the intake, it gives you a constant 38-42 psi of fuel press? is this right?
thanks

you would only know with a gauge.
if you stuff with OEM things dont expect free power, the car is tuned with a certain fuel pressure at a certain map, screw with it and you'll probably lean the hell out of the motor.
dont be cheap, do it once do it right, buy an adjustable FPR and gauge

There are no benefits really as its tuned for a certain amount of fuel at a certain load point etc etc so unless you change your tune, your only going to use more or less fuel, which is not good really without your timing being in check
Injectors in the 3.5L DOHC Debonair motor are 240cc.....not sure of pajeros mate
and yes they should fit

If the line is off the FPR the pressure for the fuel will be the same as it is at cruise. The factory FPR rises pressure at idle when higher vac is present, not the other way around

so your saying that the hose being off the fpr will give no more pressure at all?
i might just put a small kink in the return to tank hose
, NOT REALLY. I AM NOT DOING THIS, IT IS JUST A JOKE. LMFAO

Why on earth do you want more pressure to begin with and "a small kink" in the return hose, well bud first dibs on your burnt out wreck then or if insured tell me please which auciton the burnt out wreck is being sold from
IF you need more pressure, and I can not think why with a non forced induction standard engine you would need more pressure, place an after market FPR after your stock one which is the easiest option but remember as you get a richer mixture, your O2 sensor will dob you in and your ECU will trim the duty cycle of the injectors to try and bring it back in line again
If you kink the hose you are then applying higher pressure to a kinked hose that is not even designed to take high pressure in the first place, real cleaver move so dont do it

Seems that the OP continued this thread as a joke for some reason and thought was amusing, question has been answered thus thread can now close
