Hey guys,
My TS Magna auto has got about 211k on the clock but still running fairly strong. The transmission however looks like the next the thing to go. It often shudders when I switch into reserve or drive from park and sometimes slips into neutral on it's own (about once a week). It's still very much drivable and fairly comfortable to use but how much more could I roughly expect to get out of it before I definitely will need a replacement? What is a TS transmission going for these days?
Cheers for any help

you're from vic, assuming you're close to jolly rogers, if you pull a tranny out yourself, you'll pay $124.
else if you buy one already removed you'll pay in the $300 range BUT it'll have a or 6 month warranty:)
if you drive it softly and dont tracsh it you could probably quite easily get 10,000km but yeah, nothings certain once something starts giving up.

If you have an Auto license or prefer auto's then yann89 has the info for you.
Just in case Magna94 guy would need a mechanic to remove/fit it, does anyone know what a mechanic would charge?
If you have a Manual License and would prefer a Manual, then I agree with pandaTR, maybe look at doing a Manual Conversion. There's plenty of info here on AMC and a few members around who've done it.

get a manuel

It's easy saying "get a manual" when you have no idea whats involved. I would just get another auto and have it serviced before its put in.
If your in vic PM madmagna about it...
It'd roughly take about 5ish hours (give or take of course) to take off the old GB and fit another in, so I'd base it on about $60 per hour labour...
