I recently brushed past another car and my TF front bumper bar has the usual "cannonball imprint" in the corner. There are other paint defects on the bumper so I reckon I'll just replace it. The new bumper bar is black plastic.
Colour-coding is a bit boring, so I'm thinking of taking the opportunity to do something different.
The car is dark green metallic. One simple option is pearl black (which will match my grille that came off a black TJ).
Then again, I could look into something more customised (chameleon or whatever).
Anyone done some adventurous painting of just the front bar, or have creative ideas?
And any recommendations for an affordable paint shop in Sydney to do it?
Update: Went through insurance after all, got a new bumper bar but colour coded. Probably looks better really.
