im just gaining interest of whom would be interested in black or colour coded headlights.

im gonna get a set of silver headlights and try and open them up and paint them gloss black to match the front grille etc. if i succeed would anyone be interested in a set.


i plan on using top quility sealant and leak check them before fitting them.

if this were to go ahead it would be exchange as to keep the price cheap.

I'd be very interested actually! Currently got the silver inserts for a silver car, the black insert would look shmick.

Heaps of the Evo boys do these to their VII and VIII lights to make them look like the VIII MR and IX lights

Can also be done to the tail lights.

As long as they are put back together properly and sealed so no moisture can get in, then it should work no problems.

You say gloss black? So it would have a darker more shiney finish than the original VRX/GT lights? (which look matte black).

I recon matt black is the go

well once i locate a pair of lights and get them sorted ill do any colour youse want.
