Hey guys, just wondering if a TJ sports spoiler would fit nicely onto a TL, i assume it would, but i dont wanna go and buy one if it doesnt fit, also am i right in believing the exhaust is the same layout?

The spoiler will fit - have seen numerous TLs with the TJ Sports/VRX style spoiler fitted.

Yes, exhaust is the same layout. I think the TE's had a different length cat converter but TJ>TL should be the same.
This is assuming there both FWD. FWD and AWD is totally different

Yeah theyre both FWD, im aware of the massive difference in AWD layout. Thanks for the answers guys, what price would you recommend for them? Theyre at a wreckers where the front end is eating the dash almost, so the back is fine.

If you are going to modify the rear layout, why not lay it out like how the AWD are and all other cars with IRS. The 3rd gen FWD setup was done the way it was done to accomodate wagons which did not have IRS. The exhaust goes down the centre, then makes a 90degree bend towards the right side, then makes a almost 90 degree bend to go over the rear axel and then a sharp bend to go down and the another bend to level out into the muffler. Where as the AWDs go down the centre, make a slight deviation to go under the suspension componens, next to the diff, make a right turn and then a left turn into the muffler.
