did any of the 3rd gens (including overseas) ever come out with self leveling headlights?

I thought self levelling was a thing required for HID / similar head lights?

AFAIK (open to correction) the 3g never left any factory with HID / similar headlights, to require self levelling headlights...

Aus spec ones didnt have it

Reason Norby has asked, his new car has some sort of weird thin on the backs of them, there are little spirit level looking gizmo's in them and the wiring looks like it runs into this box as well. Is hard to tell until they are removed from the car and I have a closer look

They may be for just adjusting the beam manually but then again can not really see how this would work as it would also be dependant on the ride level of the car itslef ie nose up or down

2nd gen Sigmas had them, so, possibly a carry over part, best bet is to PM Johnny123 or someone from overseas really?
edit* if theres a mitsu part number on it, ring up a mitsu who has the international parts catalouge on them (essendon I think have it) and see if they can find a match for it, might give you a quicker yes no answer on what it is
