View Full Version : Got nudged today and rear right passenger glass is slightly out of position
Is this something that can be bent back in easily, or am I looking at a panelbeater? When it's out of position, I hear the wind whistling. If I open the window slightly, close the door then wind the window up, she seats into the frame OK. Apart from that, some scrapes that a polish will take out and an annoying scratch that will need a touch up.
Don't know what the other driver was doing, she hit 2 cars while turning around. Good job multiple witnesses saw and stopped her...

I know how you feel, ive tried 4 times to adjust my drivers door as when i close it the glass JUST catches on the hard rubber strip at the top, doesnt even do it all the time. i would mark the original position on the hinges with permanent marker and then try to loosen and adjust the position of the door slightly. also check that the catch plate (striker plate on car) is still in correct position first, as they have lines to align them. good luck
Went to see Mal tonight (thanks for your time and chat Mal) and yes, no major damage. Just an adjustment and painting - so a pain in the backside for me time wise but wallet will be OK once I talk to her insurance company.
