Hey guys,

im having some tappet issues as you could imagine.

Magna buff tells me that some members have modified from hydraulic tappets to manual tappets, preventing them bleeding out and becoming noisy (which is the current issue for me)

just wondering if anyone can shed some light/knowledge/experience on the issue as im tossing up whether to replace my current lifters or convert to manual ones...

Thanks in advance

Tim

Mate,
I would void this at all costs, the manual ones are a pain, they get noisy thus need adjustment

If you have not already (which you should have) get the roller rocker cam, roller rockers, new GOOD quality lash adjusters and you will have no issues

Remember these are the same ones as in the third gen as well and with the revised bleed holes there are a lot fewer issues with the third gens

Do lash adjusters, you will love it, should be able to get done for around 80 bucks inc parts man
