When removing the centre air vents from my TJ Magna I was unclipping the wire from the little white clip, however, the white clip seemed to just slide right out from where it was. It looks as though it should be clipped to something but I have had a good look and cannot see anything there to clip it to. Does anyone know how to reconnect it?

Also, the centre part where the radio goes appears to be just sitting loosely in my console. I cannot see anywhere on the console piece to put screws through and nothing appears to be broken off. Is this meant to sit loosly or should it be screwed to the body somewhere and, if so, where do the screws need to go?

Do you mean the facia? If so, there should be 2 screws on the bottom and 2 screws in the top.

Also, it also has some.... Not sure what to call them, brackets maybe, that slide into place in the console itself. Someone else may have some mroe knowledge to help with that part

Re: Air vents, about 5cm up from that white clip the rod slides onto there is a metal clamp the rod pushes into to keep it firmly in place.

Re: Stereo fascia, 2 screws top, 2 screws bottom, as mentioned by Wiggles.

Sorry, the white clip itself has actually come out so right now the cable running down from my air vent is hooked onto the white clip which no longer appears to be hooked to anything. Anyone know what the white thing should be joined to?

Hmmm... Does anyone have any photos of where the actual screws go as I cannot see anywhere on the stereo fascia for screws and I'm wondering if they've been broken off?
