I'm starting to come to a dead end with N/A mods and would like to know if there is anything further I can look at doing. At the moment i've got:
- Custom pod CAI
- high flow cat
- high flowing dual mufflers split system at the back

I've got pacemakers going in this week, and then if I can find a set of 380/ralliart cams i will be putting them in as well at some point in the future.

Is there anything else I can do without going too serious?
Next option is probably a manual conversion but would like to get the most out of my current setup before changing gearboxes.

Do a search! lol

No seriously... Get 380/Ralliart cams, ECU reflash from SKR (98ron) and a manual conversion and you are good for at minimum 150kw at the wheels. And for a reasonable cost.

for an extra 30kw over daves setup your looking at a truckload of money

dito... 380 / ralliart cams and then get the SKR flash done on 98RON. Also, I know you said you want to get most out of the auto gear box, so not much else you could really do without spending bigger bucks....

Seriously... convert to manual, and you get quite a big gain from that...

It's tempting! I'll have a chat to you about it on thursday or over msn.

I'm not sure if its because I have the 4 spd, but first gear just seems way too long.
Once the pacies are on i'll see how it goes, and keep my eyes out for the 380 cams.
I'm starting to think a manual conversion is probably the best way to go though.

Yea... 80km/h is a bit long, my 4sp is the same.

I find that 80km/h isn't too bad, its the 150 in 2nd gear and that it won't kick back to first above 40km/h that's the problem.

I have to agree too, why anyone makes a 2ndgear that goes from 40 kms and 150 I don't know.the 4spd is a pain when you lugging up a hill and it won't change down to 1st, not real keen to ram it into 1st when doing 40-50 kms/hr with the engine under load. You end up lugging away trying to get the revs up so you can build up speed. This happens pretty much every time I go up the Clyde, its one heck of a hill and you don't want to get slowed down otherwise its a painfull trip up the hill, and all I am trying to do is not hold people up.

50km/h is the lowest speed for a kickback FYI.

I actually had my auto up to 165 indicated in 2nd... and it will not kick down into 1st until it's below 50.

I'm pretty sure I've done the whole of Wakefield in 2nd :woot:

go the manual convo Leigh. you won't look back!
