im looking at buying a 4" tip for my vr-x to fill out the hole in the bumper, i was just wondering if it gets too close to the bumper will it melt?

not too sure about the diffrence between TL's n TJ's, if the cut out is the same or not, but i have 4" tip for over 2 yrs now and got no issues at all ;)

ok thanks i know VRX has a 4" tip but not sure what its done to his bar

yes it can. justins xr6 melted around a cm off his rear bar from it being close and tight (depending on how hot it gets 'driveing style' )

yea thats what i dont want to heppen, cuz after i did a mountain run the tip was sooo hot

yeah you could melt it. with a 4 inch how close is it to the sides

I've got a 4" tip on mine its not that close to the bumper
Been on for nearly a yeah now and no problems what so ever
I'll find a pic for ya

thats preaty good. as look as its preaty still and doesent move around it shouldnt melt it. justins moved around abit so when it hit the sides it melted it

i was comparing it the other week one of justins (james's) tips is pretty much the same size as one of mine and he has them sitting side by side sooo idk coulda been a contributing factor

yeah its 2 3 inch tips. it was mainly cause the exhaust isnt held down tight. it shakes alot

thanks man but im after a rolled tip one so the thickness could be more not sure tho.
