Hey my sunroof does not do a smooth slide. It stops and starts. I have to keep tapping the switch to make it move. Has anyone one had this before?

doesnt seem like its a grease issue. i can see a bunch of it there. it was working fine then you know how people are when they get in the car with a sun roof. all trying to take control of the car and touch shit FK!!! annoys me.

yea but this will be the 3rd time in 6 months i've taken it in. I was told u can only take it in 3 times a year. i rather use my 3rd go on something more important than this. can anyone correct me on this.

I don't have a sun roof, but I'd have thought you'd be allowed to bring the car back as many times as is required to get it fixed or replaced. I've never asked about specific warranty visit limits, but it sounds wrong to me.

not true! take it back as many times as it takes to get it fixed. theres no limits on warranty.

hey mate i hade the exact same problem with mine, stop start stop start and i went down to bankstown maccas and met up with my mate (kif380) and we where comparing and we where pushing down on the sunroof (not the smartest thing i know) mine wasnt working for about 3 months all of a sudden after pushing down on it on the front left and right presto works buetifully, i got told it might of been a solinoid (whatever the **** that is) but yea me and my mate just pushed on it a couple of times quite hard and it started working again. FREE FIX!! cheering

take it back under warranty. so long as it is still under factory warranty (and not extended or 2nd hand dealer) you can take it in as many times as you like, for what ever you want. the 5 year warranty from mitsubishi offers comprehensive cover from bumper to bumper. this could be quite an expensive fix outside of warranty too, i would get it looked at quick smart!

was a software issue. reset the sunroof software and it works now.

Yeah, everything in the 380 is controlled by a computer somewhere - there's five of 'em.
