has anyone does this so it is always on when you open it?

I did this once, only problem was it caused my tail lights to come on at the same time. I then cut the 12v to the bulb and then the lights went back to normal, So I put it back the way it came.

The glove box is negative switched, so all you need to do is move the power from the current dash light curcuit to a constant power source, red with black trace is all over the dash harness and is constant power

When open, you have light, when closed no light
