ok guys. im just wondering what method is the best way to retrim my door cards. ( the bit that comes out) is there any hints or warnings to this? ive never actualy taken it off to have a look. is there a cheap alternative to leather that looks the same? i want it to look like black leather?
any tips would be apreciated.
Thanks

thanks mate. so shoe glue works good. did you put glue in the middle of the trim or just the edges?

take ur door card out, take the old trim of, lay the card on top of the material, cut it to shape, ensuring you leave edging so it can be folded. lay glue on the edges, and fold it over. do this bit by bit so it pulls tight. no need for glue in the middle.

Shoe glue works pretty good, I only glued the edges.
For the old trims, I only cut the folded fabric and foam leaving the center materials and then I wrapped it with leather. By doing this, my door cards are still foam padded.
