Hay all

Im doing my front break pads right now and i cant push the front right piston back im using this clamp witch works everytime on my other cars and magnas but this one dosent wanna push back. Wat do i do i need some help asap.?

Wat u mean the lid.? its already been taken off.

at work we use large multigrips, works for most cars

try rotating them e.g. spin the piston with multigrips while pushing them back.

I always use a G-clamp for mine, but I use it in the process, not sure about pushing them back, should work tho.

G clamp is what i use for pushing the piston back aswell, do it slowly too.

Please do not twist these as you can damage the dust boot and the seal

If the piston will not push back with large grips or clap it is seized and will need to replace or reco the caliper

Oh and BTW, they are BRAKEs not BREAKs :)

Lol it probably was seized but end up taking the caliper of and putting it in a press and pushing it back and that worked lol bleed the brakes and all good working perfectly.

I always back off the bleeder nipple first, then use a G clamp.

Same. Thats the best way and it makes flushing the old fluid out and bleeding the line easier.

if you just remove the cap, you dont need to release the nipple and introduce air. no bleeding required then. unless of course you are wanting to replace the fluid.

I always back off the bleeder nipple first, then use a G clamp.

I was told to do the same by a mechanic. Especially when ABS system installed. Any wear sediment will be expelled throught the bleeder rather than pushed back up through tha ABS block.
