Hi all, I am in need of replacing the glass from my passenger side TH Magna Solara Wagon. The wife just rang and said she 'bumped' it and now the glass is gone but the mirror is still there. I will have to look at it when she gets home and perhaps take a photo for you guys, but hopefully it is just the glass that needs replacing as it is a solara so the mirrors are colour coded.

Does anyone know where I can get this done in Sydney and how much approximately I would be looking at? Or would I be better off going to a wreckers and getting a side mirror from a similar model then removing the glass from it? Not really sure what to do about it, never had anything like this happen before! Thanks in advamce.

The glass just clips out & in easy & is only around $20 off memory.

Similar thing happened to my VY recently. The passenger side mirror glass and backing plate gone but the mirror housing still intact. Tracked down a mobile mirror guy who came out and made a backing plate and mirror to fit the shape of my mirror housing on the spot. $40 all up. Try and find someone similar in your city otherwise try a wrecker for a replacement mirror with housing.

Great, I just bought a new side mirror from mitsu for $130 because the same thing happened to me (Well, a kangaroo knocked the glass out..)... :(

Mate Im cleaning out my garage & yard 2day & 2moro I think there is a glass somewhere as im fitting auto fold mirrors so if you can wait until 2moro arvo i will let you know & you can have it for free Im in Wentworthville I can put it on 4u2 if u want.
Just remember i may not have one either so see how it goes.
