Someone mentioned a few days ago that Mitsubishi made the driver side front coil spring slightly stiffer than the passenger side.

My sedan sits slightly lower on the drivers side despite its low mileage. The previous owner had all four shock absorbers replaced with Monroe GT gas shocks. It occurred to me that his mechanic may have inadvertantly swapped the front springs over.

Does anyone know how to tell which front spring is which?

If they've been swapped, I'll swap them back. With all the practice I've gained while changing the CV shafts, it should only take half an hour.

any letter L or R stamped on the strut ?

the top nut of the front struts has a torque spec

you can also adjust the height using the allen key
