My TL VRX gas pedal sometimes "jam" on the way down, this usually happens after I depress the pedal fully after a quick passing move.
To describe the stuck pedal more accurately, I depress the gas pedal down from 0% throttle, and at a point (maybe 20% throttle) shortly after there's a big resistance (more than normal not huge) I press the pedal harder and it gets pass that stuck point. This usually results in the car accelerating more than I want. Most of the time I could get pass this problem by trying to shift the pedal side ways towards the inside (leftward) using my foot if that makes sense.
I have check the pedal assembly and found that one of the pins that holds the pivot point was a bit lose. So I push it back and it's been better (problem less frequent, but then I dont try to use 100% throttle now due to this problem) but the pedal still jam sometimes and I know its not only the pin that's the trouble (so I think).
Is the problem I described a common one and do any body have a solution to this? I think its gona get more annoying as time goes by.
