So with the rising temps I have noticed a few things round the 380

the glue holding the rear lights weakens and you can take off the clear cover:wtf:

the A/C condensor pours out water from underneath after a drive ( corolla just drips slowly:nuts:)

Sunroof does not judder when closing :facejump:

apart from that It dissapates the heat awesomely with the Climate control on and keeps the heat at bay whilst driving even in heavy traffic

Is this sunroof judder normal? I took it to Mitsubishi under warranty - then picked up the car and nothing changed - I don't think they did anything as it juddered as it always has.

Yep, sunroof judder apears to be normal, a couple of older threads here about it.

I've had it from day one, and tried all sorts of lubricants on the mechanism and on the sealing rubbers (which I reckon is where the judder comes from) and nothing has made any difference.

At the 30,000k service I asked the dealer to fix it, and they reckon they tried several things, including adjusting the fit, and they couldn't fix it. Well they say they tried a number of things, who knows what they really did or didn't do.

On my car the judder is always there so matter how hot it gets. I'm now so used to it it doesn't bother me any more.

Agree with the aircon comments, best aircon I've ever had.

Maybe it pours out lots of water after a drive because it has a very good dehumidifier compared to a Corolla?

I don't have a sunroof, but agree the aircon is excellent in this car. I'm always upping the temperature as it keeps getting too cold. When I first got it, I put the settings all to Auto and started to get a migraine after 20 minutes (it was too cold).

For what it's worth, when I had a hire car/380 the sunroof worked fine. Maybe it as they get older or repeated use?

with the A/C dripping, is that supposed to happen this excessively? my car also drools all over the garage.. I'm a bit paranoid that its a crack in the exhaust (catalytic converters produce water.. if there is a excess hydrocarbons being pumped out of the engine than the exhaust will start dripping indicating a problem with the engine). although it is more likely its just the air conditioning (like a 95% chance its the A/C).

mine judders only when closing from a tilt position. I have noticed that when it is really hot it doesn't judder.

Was going to take it in for a warranty check, but it appears to be a normal occurance

Mine doesn't judder when going from open to fully closed

Same here, only judders when closing from tilt. I'm pretty sure that this is what most others find as well, no judder when sliding only when closing from tilt.

Some find that the judder stops when the roof gets hot (not me though), may have something to do with metal expansion/contraction around the sunroof hole. Trying to remember year 8 physics from (too) long ago, but I think if you heat a flat metal object with a hole in the middle the hole gets bigger not smaller. So hot roof = slightly bigger sunroof hole = sunroof rubber surround not rubbing so much on the metal opening = no/less judder.

the water is definately the A/C

There are some days were I dont drive with A/C (Yes I am a nut) and I dont get the water

as for the sunroof it always makes the noise it is the guides not lubed up enough (thats what makes sense to me) but It stopped happening ATM

might use this as an opportunity to get some white lithium grease on it too

i used lithium grease on mine and it still judders

Yep, as I said earlier I have tried all sorts of greases & lubricants, including lithium grease, copper grease, rubber grease, WD40 & silicon lubricant, on both the mechanism and on the rubber seals, and none of these have helped at all.

I noticed the juddering with our sun roof bout 3 months after buying the car new. Just cleaned off all the grease and used a bees wax and reapply when needed.

My Ford pisses out water when it's humid too, does remain super comfy inside though :D

Any my sisters TJ highmount brake light continuously falls off, we haven't worked out a way to fix it yet.
