I just bought a TJ wagoon auto and have started to mod it so far got dvd player amp and sub and 18 inch rims off my old magna but am stuck the TJ has had a gas conversion dual fuel but its not a factory its after market rom the gas convertors in canning vale . The problem I have is repco told me a K&N air filter may stuff it up and the car may not run , the guy who told me this also had a gas conversion but had a lever to ajust the amount of air coming in when running on gas and fuel . I tryed ringing the company who installed it but they are not open til 20th of jan. any one who can help ???

if it is a mixer type system than yes it can lean the mixtures. same if you were to fit a new air cleaner. when you get one get the mixtures checked.

Pretty sure the K&N Air filter will be fine even with LPG on the car.
Members on AMC here are running LPG with K&N Panel Filters without issue..

if the old one is dirty, and put a new one in itll lean off the gas mixtures. just fit it and take it to a gas service place and get them to check the mixtures.

thanks of the advice greatly appreicated , one last question with the new filter how soon should I get the mixtures cheaked as its long weekend

Well if It is a K&N Filter going in the existing airbox as a replacement for the original filter I can't see a drama, but if your modding the air intakes etc to fit a different type of K&N product then there could be an issue

i got a tj with lpg after it was installed 4 months later i put a pod on it and it works fine you wont have a problem
as for a kn filter 200% will not affect anything
