Hi guys.

I'm repairing a KS atm but I've hit a snag while transferring an interior loom.

Could anyone please help me out here and tell me what these wires and plugs plug into? It's in the boot but I have NO IDEA where it could plug at all!.

theyre a bit blown out, but as you can see, two white plugs, one wrapped in black foam and which are wrapped in the same loom.

Cheers guys.

hmm...it comes from the main interior loom (from the drivers side of the car). it splits from the long wires which extend to the radio antenna.
I dont know about trailer loom because it only reaches half-way accross the parcel shelf and this car didnt have a tow hitch.

extra lights, spoiler lights, something to do with the air suspension?

it also possibly joins onto another loom.

There is ETACS in the boot but they are a long yellow and long white plug

The elec antenna has 2 plugs Ian because the KS xi has a halfway button but if it doesn't reach.......

What about the alarm receiver for the factory alarm, from memory that is under the parcel shelf.... a little grey module

abs computers in the boot?

AH-HAH! this *might* be it.

what is the box next to the elec aerial? Its a control module of some sort but I dont know what it controls?

I really should buy a haines or gregory's manual for this car:doubt:

The long gold looking box is the ETACS.... controls the alarm and im pretty sure the lights fading etc. etc.

They are the wrong connectors for that though as far as I remember, and didn't you say it doesn't reach there?

I can't see real well from the pic but is one of the plugs like on a right angle???? If so, I think that is for the boot light which sits under the parcel shelf, that would also fit in with my alarm module theory as they are right next to each other

nah they're straight plugs, similar looking to the one that plugs into the tail light loom...

This is where it splits from the main loom. it crosses (atm) over the loom for the little box there and the high mount brake light

I just walked out to my car...... there are 3 wires there on mine, one goes to the grey alarm receiver (plugged in in your pic) one to the boot lid for lights etc. (also plugged in in your pic) and the third one goes to the floor, presumably for the petrol tank sensor or maybe fuel pump power.

It should go straight down pretty much, then into a hole (with a rubber grommet) in the centre of the two rear strut towers directly below the parcel shelf

See if that works

Don't you have a wiring diagram anyway>?????
