Hey guys.Ii want to do a few things to make my car feel like mine you know have a bonding time with it. So i just bought a full set of Narva 5000k Ultra Blue headlights aswell as parker and rear numberplate lights to suit the Xenon aperaence of the lights. Looks sweet as.
But aside from that.... Im looking for some aluminium clutch, brake, and accelerator pedals to replace my boring rubber ones. Does anyone know if there are any other mitsubishi vehicles that would have a nice set of pedals that would fit up nicely, or even aftermarkest ones that will fit nice. My sister once bought some aftermarket pedals and they slid across the bracket when you used them.

Thanks dudes.

Probably not where you would expect, but Aldi was selling some a couple of weeks ago. They looked as good as any I've seen or used. The few pairs that I have used over the years all attached the same way, with brackets across the back of the peddle. You have to make sure they're as tight as possible and use locktite on all the little threads.

Cheers.

Don't pedals have to have a rubber grip? my brother failed rego years back because the rubber was worn and metal was showing on his pedals.

Yep, I've heard/read that after-market alloy pedals or pedal covers are illegal for anything other than off road use.

Which may explain why the el-cheapo SCA kits have 'for off road use only' printed on them.

My Pajero has aluminium peddles stock but there are rubber inserts for grip.

I hope you never drive your car with wet shoe soles - could get nasty...

i can get my photo up cause it wont upload. sucks.

but the accelerator pedal sucks. it has to go on upside down cause the stem that the original pedal is on is to fat. but also it slips off with a bit of pressure.

so i might have to go the Outlander pedals. does anyone know if they can be manual?

Wow, are those OEM pedals, I much prefer the ones on my XR, but I'll look into them. A friend bought an Outlander recently and I have yet to see it so I'll check out if he has these pedals. I would like some nice ones for the 380 too.

It looks like the "Outlander aluminium pedals" are actually just screw-on pedal covers?

Is the Pajero the same?

If I'm not mistaken, true sports pedals completely replace the conventional ones (and have to be matched to the car).

Ideally I want a full replacement for the standard rubber blocks, i.e. complete aluminium pedals with the correct mounting setup. I saw some on eBay ages ago but not for a long time since :(

In my Falcon, the OEM aluminum pedals are covers that go over the top of the original pedals, with the clutch and brake having a screw to hold them down extra. See this pic:

Those Outlander ones don't look OEM, but I don't know if those cars or Pajero have them available.
