Hi all.
I was wondering if a set of VRX TW rims with 235/45R17 will fit on my TE with no scrubbing on the guards?
Has anyone done anything similar to this or does anyone have 235's on there TE?

N.B My current profile is 205/65R15. I have lowered my car with SL in the front and L in the rear.

Please help.
Thanks.

I highly doubt it will rub as the suspension is all the same, plus the tj vrx rims are 235/45R17

I had 225/50 17s on my old TE, with Kings superlows on the front and lows on the rear, and the only rubbing I had was a little touch on full lock on the front wheel well inner plastic guards. A bit of bending & reshaping of these guards (they are soft & squishy) fixed the problem. So I reckon you should have few problems with 235/45 17s, especially if you are running standard springs or ride height.

The VRX with 17" wheels does have a slightly different back end HOWEVER these wheels will fit fine and will not scrub at all
