After trolling through 10 pages of nothing that I want using the search function I thought I would post up here and ask the question.

I have a set of Verada Tail lights (KE KF KH) for my TE and I was wondering is there a way that I can dremil the main brake lights so I can mount the reverse light into the indicator section as I don't want to put the boot inserts on my car. I know this can be done for the KJ AFAIK but I am not too crash hot with wiring so in case there is different wiring loom and all that, can someone help me?

The only other option is to wire both my indicators to come on when I go into reverse which shouldn't be to hard either but would prefer to mount the reverse light inside the main housing as a 1st preference.

i thought the revese light has to be white, cos what ur sayin is ur going to have them yellow ??????? also check maggie3.5 magna thread he has done a KE tail light conversion and has wired up a reversing bar light above the number plate looks good

Yes but he mounted a LED strip on the back of his car. With the KJ lights they are a brake and reverse light so people mod the indicators? My verada ones are all red, so its brake and indicator no reverse light?

Don't know if you've noticed but the KJ tail lights have a clear plastic section in them for the coloured indicator bulb to flash through. With anything before that you have an amber plastic section for the indicator.

Don't know what you're trying to achieve with this but there's not going to be an easy way to have it showing the correct colour... Not sure if a blue light bulb would work but there's always a chance.

G'day mate, mike "lenda" has done this mod... Some of the kj kl light come with a clear section, where you can put them in there.. but if you dont have the clear spot, Drill them into the red section "its a fact that RED light is better for your eyes to adjust.. ( this is way W.A police now use Red lens tourches )Though benny as we know its not going to be legal.. but i cant see them stressing other this ?
