i was wandering if anybody could tell me what i need to do to get the back seat upright out of my TE? i know there is about 5 screws at the bottom. however it will not budge. is there any other screws hidden anywhere other than the 5 at the bottom?

There should only be 3 bolts, 1 in the centre and 2 on the outside. Once there out, grasp the bottom of the backrest and pull up, that will unhook the seat and then can be removed.

TE from memory had 4 not 3 like TF onwards
You will need then to grasp the bottom and heave upwards (ie the whole seat up, not pull the bottom out and up)
Yep, undo the bolts at the bottom, then pull the bottom of the seat out slightly and jerk it upwards hard. It's held on at the back over 4 or 5 hooks on the back frame, so you may need to give it an upwards whack on both left and right side.
