So just had to purchase a new tyre as the inside of the front right was completely exposed.

The car is on 19" tyres and stock springs, anyone else have issues like this?
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I had the same issue with my 18s and had both front's worn down to the metal belt on the inside. Not sure if they can do anything, as the tyre would scrup against the guards otherwise???

I have 19s now, but not had them long enough to see this happen. I will most likely rotate them more often. Will see what happens.
Perhaps speak to a tyre place and get them to check...

Also, your profile says you have compressed lovell spings??

Thanks mate.
There is no scrubbing that I can see.
The car I am talking about is a TJ VRX which is the daily driver. It has stock suspension.
I have had this car for 2 weeks so not sure how often the tyres have been rotated etc

if you've only had the car for two weeks, it's impossible to tell why the tyre has scrubbed out so badly.

I would recommend an alignment ASAP. you might find the toe out was huge!

cheers,

i recommend Fulcrum... from the various different fulcrum workshops i have used they ALL seem to know thier sh!t!! you definitly get what you pay for!

IMHO someone charging $40 for a 4 wheel alignment should be looked at :ninja:

Karen, Get an allignment and then keep an eye on the tyres

Given you have had the car such a short time there is no way to tell if both tyres were like that and one was replaced recently or if only one has done that

If only one, could be a camber issue but for that amount of wear would be bleeding obvious.

Get your alignement and see how you go. Oh and btw you have a PM waiting for you lol
