hey guys

i was just installing my system and i ran all the cables and everything and when it came to tuning the amp and setting it all up.... it switched off.

every time it just runs for a bit then switches off... and we cant test if its actually working.

its really annoying and i want to get this stuff working does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

thanks guys

With the amp, did you hook up the power cable straight to the battery and the earth cable to the body of the car?

under any main bolt. behind the seats is usualy good just sand it back or grind it so its nice and conductive!

i have cable straight to battery and then other to car body....

and no the remote wire is correct as it has a tag on it which says REMO....

and no red light on the amp so yeah its a sh*t amp...

i might change the earth point to behind the seats and sand it down properly

if you have a multi meter, test the voltage going into the amp before it's switched on and see if the voltage changes when on. If it drops and then turns off, that's the problem.

check the connections and lines if that's the case. Could be anything from a bad earth to a lose or dirty fuse.

we had this problem on my mates amp, turned out the ground wasnt sufficient, try moving it mabye or sanding more paint to reveal more metal for conductivity
