sorta pretty new here :P
just been reading threads etc.

Stupid thing happened today ...

As i was closing the boot, with stuff in it ..
initially it won't close..
after a good press it did.

Now the 'good' part is..
I have a magna key that can't open the boot, and the wire pulley for the boot doesn't work.

Any ideas on what is the best way to open it ?

reach in and flick the white switch on the boot lock, the cable will then work

Have you tried the button in the glovebox?

Thanks bud, took the words out of my mouth, well off my key board

If you take out the back seat, you can remove a panel which will give you enough room then to empty your boot if needed and then get to the back of the car

After you have done this you have a few choices, you can unhook the outer cable from the latch and pull that, if it is locked with the switch you can also get to the lock rod and pull that to open her up

Nah guess i should do that, figured i will do that tomorrow morning instead of going out now in the dark as need to check fuse for the cigarette lighter plug aswell (sadly cant connect aux to headunit as cigarette lighter not working).. Will get multimedia onto it aswell :).. Could it be something with the hydrolic release? though boot opens fine with key. cheers for quick reply

errr id say its a fuse then, pretty sure siggie lighter and boot popper are the same...in the drivers footwell
