Hi Guys this is my first post to this forum....

I have searched but cannot find any info here on changing the rack out for a lower ratio one....it would seem all magnas/veradas are all the same.

maybe a rack from a 380 might be faster. any thoughts?

Are you talking about power steering racks??

It looks so, the most common upgrade is a pump and rack from tw magna

Agree with Lowrider, but that upgrade (and I think its both rack and steering pump for full effect) is for better steering "feel/feedback" - the ratio as such doesn't change does it? Just difference in valves/rates of assist? Changes originally applied to Ralliarts when they were introduced, and then gifted to full range of cars by TL/TW era?

I guess feel could be improved but the ratio sux.....guess I'll get used to it....I am sure something could be done....be good if I could get to a wrecker and compare a few.. maybe they are similar to another mitsubishi and just need to change some parts over.....oh well....I can live with it i suppose.
