dose any one no if obd2 scanners off ebay work with 03 tj magna

I'm pretty sure if you search the forum you'll find that Magna's are not OBD2 compliant so the scanner won't work.

I use Evoscan with the Tactrix cable, works a treat but a lot of money to spend just to have some flashy dials on a laptop screen

had a look under the dash had 16pin+12pin can thay be used with third party softwear

as i dont want to remap any thing just want to keep track of how my car is running and see other info
Yeah, those both work. Straight OBD-II cables do not work though. The plug's the same but it's a different protocol.
