Hey guys,

Doing mum a favour and installing an automatic aerial in her TH Advance wagon (someone snapped off her old manual aerial). Picked up the aerial from the local wreckers. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this before and what source you used for the 12V constant supply? Does this just wire straight into the factory head unit, or do you use another source?

I actually changed mine from an electric to a manual aerial. Same thing someone had snapped the previous....not too bad a some grunting and groaning moving various parts in and out. Electric motor was a bit tricky to get out. Having a look at the electric motor I pulled out it just has a plug in socket for the 12v power. Mine was standard TJ Sports wagon. I have a feeling you'll find out after you pull everything off .... which might mean no accessible power.
