Hi there,
Just found the steering wheel vibrated very hard when I drive my 2001 TJ VRX on high way, or more than 90km/h. It runs smooth under 90km/h, just as soon as I push the speed beyond 90, then the steering wheel starting vibrate.
This never happned before, so I just wondering what kind of issues could be the reason? I changed the gasket under rocker cover as well as the plug tube seals recentely, so could it be a miss fire problem?
Any suggestion is appreciate. Thanks.

By the way, the fuel consuming increased about 8% after I changed the gasket and the tube seals, is it another evidence that my car got miss fire problem?

Jack up the front of your car- if there's play in a wheel (up, down side to side) your tie rod(s) may be shot. If there's no movement, i'd get your front wheels re-balanced.

Yep. In fact, while you're there do all four wheels.

Book it in if you want to mate, I can check your wheel bearings and also see if you went wrong with the cover gasket
The wheel balance should be your first port of call however, you may have lost a wheel weight off the front and not know about it

just check your tyres and tyre pressure. I had a big bulge in one of my tyres, felt like the car was about to shake apart. it was a brand new michillen xm1+, apparently, they had over inflated the tyre and sitting on the hot ground softened the silicone (didnt believe a word, they tried to piss of a dodgy tyre onto a p plater, bastards) took it back and got a free one, with a free wheel allignment.:facejump:

I had shudder on mine above about 80km/h.
I got an alignment and balance and its all sorted.

Also check if the tyres are out of round as this can cause vibrations

Make sure you haven't lost a wheel nut... I had vibrations at 100km/h the other night, thought nothing of it until this afternoon I noticed one is missing off the front right wheel...
