Gday guys, been thinking about this idea for a while. The drivers window in my TH sports is one of the auto-down switchs which i really like, im wondering is it possible to change the other 3 switchs on the drivers panel to auto-down switchs aswel? Is it just a matter of sourcing 3 of them and swapping them over?

There's like a mini coil or something that picks up and holds in the drivers door switch until the window is fully down. To replicate this on the other switches isn't possible on the existing pcb.

so what would happen if i change the others to a drivers switch, would it act as normal? not work at all?

it is a simple matter to latch the existing switches so that they stay on till the window is down. It requires fitting a relay on each of the switches. The relay will latch the switch on & hold it while ever it has 12V on it. The trick is to have the relay release when the window is fully up or fully down. This can be done 2 ways 1st is the most elegant & problem free for the future. It requires making a small circuit to steal the power off the relay when the power draw increases (as it does when the window is fully up or down & the motor is still trying to drive). The 2nd is the easiest & has been used ever since we have had relays requires the positioning of limit switches to cut the power to the relay when the window is fully up or down.
