Hey guys,
I was wondering if someone could point me to or give me help with identifying and checking my vaccuum seals in the engine relating to idle or the vaccuum hoses in general, i am still trying to diagnose my idle problem (not going into details). I wanna go over them and check them, i suppose soapy water on the hoses would find any leaks? Then if i find a leak ill get new lines for that area.
A picture, worded description or anything would be sweeeeeeet.
Thanks guys

mildly soapy water on the vac lines is prolly the best thing to do.
Have the engine running, then put small amounts on each hose you want to check, one at a time.
If you see bubbles forming - its leaking / sucking air (which causes the soap to bubble obv!)
Couldnt tell you which hoses to focus on checking to be honest - look for any of the hoses that come out of the inlet manifold / throttle body area and test them one by one.
Im sure someone else will be able to suggest which areas / hoses to focus on?

The best way is to spray carby/throttle boby cleaner on hoses 1 by 1 with the engine running, this will cause the engine revs to increase and allow you to pin point the vacuum leak. use caution not to spray hot exhaust manifolds etc.

Ahh when the engine get hots (subsequently off the auto choke) and i come to a stop the idle drops to around 300rpm sharply, then slowly rises to around 700rpm. i have played with the screw (for a lesser word) and got the rpm up because it was sitting at 300rpm all the time, now it sits on around 700rpm but everytime i stop it happens, gets worse with headlights on, it feels like i ahve a manual and pull the clutch in real late like the car shakes a lil and stuff. The RPM is rough for 700rpm like the rear view shakes a lil, i have removed and cleaned out the throttle body, changed the ISC with no outcome :(

thats what i was thinking of doing, i know there are a few coolant ones with the throttle body cause when i have removed it i had to plug them.

spark plugs arnt going to cause these symptoms!!
Have you looked at the, Air flow sensor, Intake air temperature sensor, Engine coolant temperature
sensor as they all have a bearing on the idle. Something is NOT telling it to return to the preset rev
