How wide can you go with tyres on TR's?

regardless whats been the widest you can fit ?

i have 225's it doesnt look like u could fit much bigger.

Depends on wheel offset, wheel width, suspension height, even tyre pressure. Every car is going to vary so you won't know until you try. I run 235s with +38 offset wheels, 38psi (cold), Whiteline Control springs (about 40mm drop), and it rubs on full lock on the inside weather shield which is no biggy.

ah alright.. anyone gone higher that 235's?

theres a set of rims im looking at but the tyre on them are 245's
you recon id be running into problems there or...?
dont know the offset of the wheels.. ill have to look into it.

i have 235's and they just fit in. i think anybigger and they dont fit at all. mikey tried and they didnt fit.

Yeah guys as SNAGMA said, the 135's fit perfectly, i tried 245's but they stuck out abit :(

ahh alright, il have to get 225's just to play it safe..

the rims im lookin into are actually 17" Mustang GT rims
they might look aight, but im not sure... plus theres a freakin mustang logo on em :confused:

what do you people recon of these on a magna?

They look pretty ugly... make sure the PCD, offset, spigot diameter, and tyre profile is right (the profile looks too low for a TR). Also check load rating on the tyres.
