Hi All.

I just bought my first Verada (KJ AWD) and I want to fit the bluetooth hands free kit from my previous car into it.

Has anyone had any experience with this? In my old car ('02 Commodore) there was a wiring loom specifically for it that provided all the connections, as well as an ATT line for muting the radio.

Is it a similar scenario for this car? Or do I have to root around finding somewhere to splice to get the power? Does the radio have an ATT trigger? Do do you have to mute the radio yourself?

I don't mind putting in the hard yards to get it done, but I like to have a head start with at least knowing where things are!

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

Have a search around the forums - download the third gen workshop manual too for any other things too. (can never hurt to have a copy of it)

Under the centre console (which just lifts up from the centre console bin end) - at the cup holders end, there is the plugs for the factory phone kit.

Never having played with it myself and no longer having the factory head unit - im unsure if aftermarket head units work with it?
It has power, the mute line for the radio and something else too.

Its been mentioned on AMC here a few times :)

Thanks Doddski. I did do a search around before asking, but my google-fu seems to be lacking today. Thanks!

the plug under the console has four pins...earth,power,acc and mute....run your blutooth from this....i think the mute will only work with a factory head though.....
