hey guys, just got a query about replacing the stock skirts on a te, on the picture below ive got a couple of arrows pointing to the side skirts, one that connects to the door and the other one that connects to the bottom of the car. im just wondering if i got a couple of custom skirts from say ssv, does it fit and replace the entire skirt including the one thats on the door, or just the lower half? if only the lower half, what type of paint would i use to paint over the crappy faded tacky plastic, cheers.

EDIT: if picture doesnt load its my webspace being homosexual, all links have been done properly on my side.

yes, Talon kit (from ssv) fits on the bottom half of the "tacky plastic" so you will have to paint the top half.. dont ask me with what tho

If you live south of the river, you could try Bacich Smash Repairs in Hami Hill. They do a proper two pack enamel. Did a very good job with the rear end of my solara (sienna red and silver). Much better than the job than Mitsubishi did with my drivers side mirror in matching the paint.
I got a quote for changing the fronts and side silver bits to red for $650 (not including back - covered by insurance), but there's a lot less to be painted on yours so I guess it should be cheaper.
