Okay guys got that common starting issue with my TH atm, and no its not the battery ive already changed it and its still doing it.
My question is can i disconnect the plugs from the black box under my dash (BEM?) and inspect them or does disconnecting them reset stuff?
Is it just the battery and Imob issue that cause this or should i look at something else?
Cheers fellaz

Sometimes the battery can be poked from brand new.....
What type of starting issues do you have exactly??? Sometimes the alternator can cause starting/power problems, especially in this heat we've been having

Hey mate
i Probably can help you, i've had this problem... Got one question for you, can you hear the engine turning over? If so its most likely your wires connecting to the rear of the key housing. theres a jointer there and on the TH they made the conectors out of brass, so they stuffed up :P cut them and solder the wires up.
Or if the Cars completely not making a sound, as it you cannot hear it trying to turn over, the Startermotor is on its monthly, might just need a clean with some degreaser or replacing but before you go to that extreme.
(And remember this is only if the startermotor doesnt turn ) Jack up the front and put some blocks under it, Get a mate to hop into the car, put it into Parker/neutral and turn the ignition key to ON.. hop under the car and find the Starter motor, there are two wires connecting to it.. with some gloves join the the two with a off cut of wire, Your starter motor will now start turning. and you car will start ?

Another thing to check is the key ignition barrel
Sometimes the metal connectors break contact
It's either metal or wire, one of the two

Well it hasnt happened for a while but i went to a shop last night and drove over a kerb to park, got in and started it, within 1-2 seconds car died, it will reach about 2000rpm then just die..keeps doing it. I put my hand under the dash wriggled the wires at the BCM it then started also happened at the next place i stopped. I got home went to have a look at it and it started as per usual and died after 1 second. Then nothing at all, can hear the starter motor trying to turn it over but it just wont fire, hooked up jump starter pack and did the same thing so im pretty sure its not the battery, but i dont know how old it is
