Can anyone tell me how to gain access to the front door speakers on a 2003 tj sedan.Does the whole door trim have to be removed?

Yes, the whole trim needs to be removed, but it only takes a minute or two once you've got it down-pat.

Do you just pry the trim away from the door at the bottom and work around. Are there any screws to be taken out.I have popped the bottom corner out on one door but it took a lot of levering.Is there anything else I should know?

Front door has 3 screws one in the front aircon hole thing, one in the handle groove under a little tab and another in the door latch. remove these three screws then just pull away and lift upwards, easier to do it when window is down

There are 3 screws,
1 behind the inside door handle, then the surround will slide out
1 where the window vent meets the dash
1 in the door handle, use screw driver to remove cover.
Now assuming you have power windows use a cloth covered flat blade screw driver lever up and unplug
At bottom of door yopu will feel a little recess with a short yank, it will pop then work your way round. Then simply lift up and off. Reverse to put back on.
