This is what happened
highway driving 100 km zone
flat straight road
car heavy load not towing

While in criuse control mode ..overdrive on
under 100k
I pushed resume button had too slow for traffic
the gearbox selected third
and the motor reved up to 5000 rpm
The gearbox did not change to overdrive

I took the foot off the acellerator. cancelled cruise
once I did that the box easily went to overdrive

reset cruise and not problem since

Has anyone had that happen
Would like to know if I used the resume function properly ?
If faulty where is the fault ?

pushing the resume button with the cruise on will make the car acellerate, pushing set button will decrease the set speed with the cruise on.

ok that is what happened

wont be doing that again anytime
