the main thing that concerns me is the gear indicator being for a differnt gearbox if it will still show the gears correctly.....

2000 should be a series 1 so will go straight in with no issues at all Was talking about the TH cluster BTW< not ralliart)

Indicators are not an issue, I assume you have non tippy, just means that you will get correct lights down to the "D" and below that you will have some number lights instead of the usual 3 2 1 L

also on the ralliart dash it has the electric odometer whereas on my car and on the sports dash it has analog odometer..... will the electric odometer work in my car????? TJ SOLARA build 11/00

Fairly certain the connections are different on the back and the odo is mechanical on the TJ I and prior I believe.

sorry to hijack this thread... but will a kj s1 dash fit in a exec????

damn... was really hoping to get the ralliart dash as my magna is burgundy so the red dash would look sick.....
sports one will have to do.... still a nice dash......

As I stated above, the TJs1 and before have a different plug arrangement to the SII. the SII dash loom can be modified to fit the series 1, my TH has the SII TJ dash in it at the moment as well as has been converted to 5 speed tippy etc however the gear selector lights all work as does everything else

I'm also fairly sure there was a wiring difference between 4sp tippy and auto, I tried to plug a KJ1 4sp tippy blackout cluster into a TH and the plug was about 4 pins longer. The back connections slotted in though.

just curious...the gear light will only goes up to 4 if the car has got a 4 tippy only?
what about the odo? will it restart from 0 km or automatically display what kms on the car?

so the ralliart cluster would all be able to work.... but what about the odo???? as someone said the tj1 is mechanical therefore wouldnt work with the ralliart cluster.....

Dean, The KJ SII dash will go in a SII Magna HOWEVER the KJ S1 will not change over without a dash harness change into a SI or earlier, hope is clear as mud as gets confusing

OP, as I stated, IF you have a series 2 which I do not think you do, you can plug the reallyart dash cluster into your car. if you have a series 1, ie trip comp in centre display and not on the cluster you can still use it but you will need to change the dash harness

Dean, I have a TH here I am doing for Vira, has the 5sp tippy installed in it now (was orig a manual) and currently has a sII 4 speed cluster. I can not get a 5 speed series 2 cluster at the moment. The SII cluster for the 4 speed be they tippy or not were the same with the step in the indicator lights either way

Pretty sure it will go 2-3-4-5, thats what I was told when I was going to put one in my car.
