From what i can see its exactly the same as the magna clusters.
so Yes should be plug and play.
and pins you should be able to just take off and replace with others.
you might want to go to a wreckers in aust first.
you will probably be able to find one exactly the same (kms may differ) for the same price if not cheaper...
and you will have it straight away rather than wait for postage.

Um, why would you want a bog stock cluster?

I like the needles the way they pass the center :happy:

um yeah as long as the connection from the pin to the dash is the same you could just swap them over..

i think that cluster came out of a Diamate that had a mivec engine... see where the red area on the tacho... 7000rpm...

if there is anything to go by from past experience, the tacho from the 2nd gen 3L sohc is different to the tacho from a Diamante with the 3L dohc. Cluster looks the same and will plug in, speedo would work, tacho wouldn't, the difference was at the wiring at the engine side of things.

Just something to take into consideration....

Thats if this diamante in question uses a different ignition system (dizzy to coil) if it still uses dizzy will more then likely work right up

believe its a coil pack... can someone confirm...? robssei perhaps would have 1st hand experience?

Not a 30M cluster, 30M's have blackout clusters. Anyways, forget doing a cluster swap (not going to work due to all the diamante extras such as 4WS), just swap the needles!

Dean, the 4WS is justan extra wire for a warning light which may be on an unused pin of the cluster.

Honestly, I don't think anyone can 100% confirm weather or not THIS cluster will screw in and work right away. only one way to find out for sure!

This is from a 2.5l 4wd diamante so not a mivec. I believe it will plug up fine but there maybe pin placement differences. and yes it is a coil pack system, one for each plug. many parts are similar such as the plug that feeds the coils are the same as the one thats feeds our dizzys.

Hey I asked him and he's not really 100% sure. He said it's highly likely it will but as it's on the yahoo auctions section he isn't sure because he isnt the person who is selling and he mostly knows about subies and skylines. Sorry mate that I couldnt be of more help.
