Just bought a 380. Unfortunately this means the TF Magna will have to go :( (previously Type40's car). Nothing wrong with the Magna but need something a bit newer for my job (& a higher priced asset to depreciate for tax purposes) and for the price I got it for I had every reason to buy it =D
Basically, Series 1 Electro Blue VR-X:
-Manual
-Leather
-Sunroof
-Factory Bluetooth
-146,000km on the clock
Got the car on Thursday and this morning I put down the right rear window and now it won't move! uggh, the joys on electric windows. So will have this fixed ASAP, does anyone know the price roughly?
Bluetooth wouldn't connect with my nokia n96. Looked it up on google and someone suggested to try connecting to your bluetooth continually from the phone. I tried this and on the 10th time my phone came up enter passcode! YAY :D
Another question, I see there are 6.5" at the front, 6x9 at the rear. Are the two speakers which would be tweeters 4" instead? If I am replacing these speakers with the ones from my Magna could I just put 6.5" splits in the front and amp them all with a high pass filter?
Loving the car so far, other then the window. Fuel consumption sitting on 11.6l/100km which I thought is pretty good for city driving.
Thanks!

My car is out of warranty though. Isn't it 5 years/130,000km? If so then I'll have to pay to get it fixed. Oh well needs to be fixed so doesn't bother me so much. I'll just call them and ask how much it is. Thing is with the window you can here the motor going the window just doesn't move though - you can move the window manually with your hands but won't go all the way up :( So I'm not sure if they need to replace the motor or just re-align the window?

you should be able to get it done under warranty.

Hi Adz and welcome!
Bit ironic you've got yourself a manual VRX after having Type40's car. I hope you put lots of go faster bits on it and show him where he went wrong! (Just kidding, Dave! Don't ban me!)

My back windows go on alternate years and i was 6000 ks over the warranty and still would not fix it. they did it at cost of $140.00. No need to worry anymore as the car has gone. Trying to decide on what to buy next

The k's are for the drivetrain warranty, they should have fixed it free.

I am looking at options as my '06 380 VRX lease is up in June. Outlander VRX is on the cards. I'm wondering whether to strip out the extra bits I've added in four years and put 'em up for grabs:
Modified US nose guard (car bra)
iPod interface and adapter to charge current model iPod/iPhone
Galant intake
K&N Galant air filter and reoil kit (only reoiled once)
Galant boot flap/protector (better the the neoprene Australian version)
I doubt anyone who bought it would notice the difference. I'll put them in the for sale section if I do, before I move on to the next car...

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the 380 club. Sounds like you've purchased an identical twin of my car if you minus about 100,000kms. :D

1st dibs on the boot flsp and interface
If the window reg breaks I feel Mitsi should be replacing for free
It is an obvious design flaw and they should only charge if they fix the flaw
