I asked the magic Search button but no luck,
My steering wheel is about 20-30degrees off (towards the right) and i believe it is getting worse, not sure if its just how i hold it (usually my right hand which could be slowly moving it?) but i was wondering if anyone could help me out with ideas on how to return it to the true position, its quite embarrasing how far out it is. The wheels aren't off, they are balanced and true its just the wheel itself isn't straight. I have tried undoing the middle bolt and from memory i couldn't move it, any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rian

Theres a difference between a wheel balance and a wheel alignment. The former involves adding weights to the rim to stop vibration while spinning, whereas the latter consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels e.g. through camber and toe adjustments.
The problem you've described is consistent with needing a wheel alignment.

Anywhere from $40 to $60 dollars - Bobjane in Doncaster did mine - top job as they did mine back to factory specs and then adjusted them as I requested to my liking.
Ill check prices for you on Tuesday when I'm back at work.

a mate has his steering wheel literally sideways, the TAFE lecturer said nothing to do with the wheels, pull the steering wheel off and put it on straight, that was his problem, yours could be different I guess

make shore u tell them to straiten the wheel cause with a wheel alingment they only check the wheels are straight and the car tracks true. to straiten the steering wheel they adjust each side by a equel amount so the steering wheel is straigt. some dont check this so make shore u mention it!
also remember the camber of the road is designed to make water runn off the edges so a little bit of off center is ok on some roads.

Bridgstone Tyre Centre's align all 4 wheels. In the end a small adjustment to the camber was all that was needed.
I had the same problem - wheel alignment fixed it up

Yes it is important to tell them to centre the steering wheel. You can actually get them to centre the steering wheel without having to do a full alignment as I had it done for my old KS.
