It's not a high pitched sound and it only happens when I have the pedal pressed, if i take my foot off it stops. Only happens at 100, doesn't matter is the ac is on or off..
Ideas>?

Here, let me bump your thread for you! lol
Sounds like a wind whistle, or induction noise. Check that all the rubber strips under the bonnet/hood are in the right place, and intact. Check air ducting to the throttle body for tightness. If you have a pod filter, that would be the culprit.
Check drive belts for correct tension.
My diff is getting noisy . . . could be that.
If your checks turn up nothing, just live with it.

my right side mirror does this when i hit about 100kph...
the wind must flow through the gaps and whistle, it could be the same issue on your car?

Good call. Stuff some foam rubber strips in the gaps and see if that helps.

my car was doing it and found that the drivers door window when shut, was just resting on edge of rubber along the top. i had to slightly adjust door to fix. i found if i shut door the rolled window down a bit then back up it went away due to it seating properly again.

could it be radio interference? alternator might be contributing?

possibly cracked exhaust. mines done it the last few weeks. only at roughly 60km/h at 3k rpm. thought id stuffed my box but it was a crack in the exhaust.

alternator age wont make a difference, ive currently got a similar 'whine' going on. im quite certain its frequency interference

If it is the driver side mirror, put your hand on top of the mirror, that will stop the whistling caused by it. Some people have put electrical tape over the cab to stop this...
